Satisfied in Him: Psalm 17 Morning Meditation

We continue revisiting previously released Morning Meditation episodes — creating space to listen again, linger longer, and notice what God may be speaking through familiar words.

This week we return to Psalm 17, where David cries out for vindication, protection, and salvation.

In this meditation, you are invited to bring your own longings, fears, and need for protection before God — trusting not in your own perfection, but in relationship with the One who is perfectly faithful.

As you listen, you are invited to slow down.
To notice the places where you feel vulnerable or weary.
To consider what it means to hunger for God above all else.

David didn’t believe he was sinless or perfect. He believed in his relationship with the One who was and is all those things.

There is comfort in this kind of honesty.
Freedom to come before God as you are.
Freedom to trust His care, His protection, and His unfailing love.

“As for me, I shall behold your face in righteousness;
when I awake, I shall be satisfied with your likeness.”
— Psalm 17:15
