We continue revisiting previously released Morning Meditation episodes—creating space to listen again, linger longer, and notice what God may be speaking through familiar words.
This week we return to Psalm 62, a Psalm that became especially meaningful to me during a difficult wilderness season. When trouble felt dark and heavy, and I couldn’t seem to find words to pray, the Psalmist’s words carried me.
Again and again, David returns to a simple truth: God alone is our refuge, our strength, and our salvation.
In this meditation, you’ll be invited to rest in God’s presence and consider the foundations upon which you’ve built your life. When circumstances shift and uncertainty creeps in, where do you turn for security? What holds you steady when the ground beneath your feet feels unsteady?
One reflection rises to the surface:
“Let’s praise God as our firm foundation, one that never shifts or fails.”
The world around us changes. Plans change. People change. Yet God remains the same.
As you pray through Psalm 62, may you find rest in the One who is unshakable. May you discover the peace that comes from placing your trust in the foundation already laid—Jesus Christ.
