Crying Out for Mercy: Psalm 6 Morning Meditation

We continue revisiting previously released Morning Meditation episodes — creating space to listen again, linger longer, and notice what God may be speaking through familiar words.

This week we return to Psalm 6, where David cries out to God in the middle of deep anguish and suffering. This meditation invites you to bring your own weariness, grief, and questions honestly before God — trusting that He hears every word.

As you listen, you are invited to slow down.
To sit with what is hard.
To notice where your heart longs for healing and restoration.

There is no need to hide your pain here.

God meets us in our suffering with mercy and compassion, gently drawing us toward His perfect love — a love that restores, renews, and holds us steady even in the darkest moments.

“The Lord has heard my cry for mercy;
the Lord accepts my prayer.”
— Psalm 6:9 NLT
